Okanagan College Open Education Strategy & Action PlanAuthored by Roën Janyk, OC's Web Services Librarian, this report was supported by a time release grant provided by BC Campus. The grant facilitated the creation of an Open Education Strategy and Action Plan for Okanagan College. This plan will serve as a guiding document for the College as it embarks on moving forward with work in the area of open education. The report contains actionable objectives and outcomes, with specific implementation dates presented in a phased manner. The report suggests specific strategies and actions to guide educators, staff, and administrators on how to increase the use and development of OER at OC, how to support OER at OC, and how to track OER at the Institution. This Strategy and Action Plan will also serve as a supporting document to support planning, including the College’s new Strategic Plan, which will be completed by the end of 2021.
